Extremely disappointing Negative: Extremely Disappointing Stay – Misrepresented Listing, Unusable Facilities, and Poor Host Response I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was extremely disappointing and future guests should be aware. The property was, in our experience, misrepresented in the listing. We booked through Booking.com in good faith, relying on the accuracy of the information provided, however the standard on arrival fell well below what was advertised. Cleanliness was a major issue from the moment we arrived — rubbish was scattered at the front entrance, with bins left at the door, including one without a lid. This created an immediate sense of neglect and poor hygiene. Inside, the property did not appear to have been properly prepared for guests. There were multiple issues with cleanliness and maintenance that made the stay uncomfortable. There were also safety and usability concerns that affected our ability to fully use and enjoy the property. We had specifically booked this property to host an event, relying on the advertised amenities — including the pool, spa, and tennis court — however these were not usable during our stay. These features were a key reason for booking, and not having access to them had a significant impact on our event. While communication with the host was initially responsive, this changed during the stay. Issues raised were acknowledged but not resolved, and after the stay there was no meaningful follow-up. We escalated the matter through Booking.com and were advised that the host did not respond to them either. This lack of engagement both during and after the stay added to the overall frustration and lack of resolution. Overall, this experience fell well short of expectations, particularly given how the property is presented on Booking.com. I would strongly recommend future guests confirm the condition and availability of key amenities prior to booking.
